Curly Horses in History
this is a copy of the Cartoon that started the use of the word Bashkir in the Curly Horse's name close up of the Sioux 1801-2 Winter Count; preserved at the Cranbrook Institute

Bunny says:
"Deb Bennet in her book "Conquerors" says the Spanish horse is the Oriental horse of the Hittites. When the Hittite empire fell, some of those horses went to Persia (Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Georgia [Russia], Azerbaijan, Kasakhstan & West Pakistan) and some to Thrace & Thessaly. She feels the curly genetics comes through the Oriental horse."  ~Bunny Reveglia
