Bunny says: "Deb Bennet in her book "Conquerors" says the Spanish horse is the Oriental horse of the Hittites. When the Hittite empire fell, some of those horses went to Persia (Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Georgia [Russia], Azerbaijan, Kasakhstan & West Pakistan) and some to Thrace & Thessaly.
