GENESIS COMMITTEE
PURPOSES:
PHASE 1. A. REGISTRY ELIGIBILITY (formative):
1. For the ICHO Members Handbook, set forth clear rules for eligibility for
a Curly Horse to be accepted into a division of the North American Curly
Horse Registry (NACHR).

PHASE 1. B. (administrative):
2. To provide central networking: collection, processing & dispensing
of information, education and communications by and between research, advisory
panel, general membership, and ICHO Board, regarding above rules for eligibility,
including any proposed changes and/or amendments to current rules in the
future.
PHASE 2. A. BREED STANDARD (formative):
1. For the ICHO Members Handbook, set forth the first (original) version
of the North American Curly Horse "Breed Standard."

PHASE 2. B. (administrative):
2. To provide central networking: collection, processing & dispensing
of information, education and communications by and between research, advisory
panel, general membership, and ICHO Board, regarding above Curly Horse "Breed
Standard," including any proposed changes and/or amendments to current rules
in the future. To make finished proposals for advice to Board and/or as ballots
for membership to vote on.
PHASE 3. A. ICAMS (formative):
1. Genesis committee shall set-up the ICHO Approved Mare and Stallion studbook
(ICAMS), define its purpose, limitations & responsibilities, and outline
the relationship between ICAMS & ICHO Type Associations.

PHASE 3. B. (administrative):
2. Administration of the ICHO Approved Mare and Stallion studbook (ICAMS),
and administration of the inspection program NACHIP. Coordination with future
ECHIP & ICHO Type Associations. Effectively putting ICAMS goals into
a successful working educational inspection & record-keeping program.
The combined job of ICHO Associations & ICAMS Genesis Committee will
be to:
A) Identify (approve), list (record-keeping) & promote
breed improving Curly Horses (education for participating members) on an
internationally recognizable format (world recognized inspection scores).
B) Provide continuing education for breeders that wish
to preserve and/or improve this evolving breed, learn more about equine
conformation and form to function, and participate in evolving breed
status.
C) Establish ICHO and the developing Curly Horse breed
credibility on a world scale.
